1 – What is your earliest memory of music in your life?

My earliest memory of music would have to be hearing Micheal Jackson for the first time, it was smooth criminal. I can’t remember exact what got me but listening to the song it just sounded crazy. Listening back i think it was the combination of the drums and bass and how different and interesting it sounded compared to other music that was on the radio or played in my house.

2 – What album influenced you or your style the most?

I would definitely have to say Karnivool – Sound Awake. Although i had played bass well before hearing this record, i never really had a huge inspiration to many bass player’s. Jon Stockman really change my way of thinking towards the bass guitar and how it is used within songs. If you haven’t heard his work with karnivool, you really need to check it out!

3 – What piece or performance are you most proud of to date?
It would have to be our live session we did at ghost city studio’s, I never thought that we would get to do a live session like that and I feel like it really delivers how we come across as a live band. You can listen to any piece of Northlane’s Studio works and it sounds like us. The live session just has a little bit of a different edge to it.
